2008 Vauxhall Astra Petrol Manual Hatchback by 49not out • 2nd October 2018
Loved my astra, the 1.4 was a bit underpowered but I'm wasn't out racing it. Suspension springs tend to ping a bit too often and the battery lasts about 4 years before the dreaded click from the starter motor. If looked after the astra is easy to drive and mine was immaculate after 10 years.

2009 Vauxhall Insignia Diesel Manual Estate by ArchieTheCat • 19th August 2018
I’ve owned this car for 9 years and although things have gone wrong and I’ve spent a little money on it, show me a car that’s 100% and costs nothing to run. I’ve changed front and rear calipers, new brake discs on the rear, treated it to two new rear springs, a new turbo pipe, one parking sensor, a steering pipe and an EGR valve cover. Not bad for 9 years and 55,000 miles! I think it’s great to drive, smooth and enough power when you need it, plenty of room in the boot and an echo when the rear seats are down! The leather seats are comfortable, the leather itself stands the wear and tear well and the heated/ventilated option is a great choice. I keep it regularly serviced with a main dealer and the prices aren’t bad with added discount. All in all, a great car, and I wouldn’t hesitate to buy one.

Great nippy little car, easy to run, cheap car tax, cheap insurance cost and groupage, only annoying thing is you can open the boot lid inside the car but have to hold the button at the rear to lower it, not good in pouring rain, other than that perfect little roadster

Have this car 16months now and it's fault after fault, the coolant Bootle cracks when it's to hot and had to be replaced then the thermostat needed replaced then the sensor on the boot needed replaced now the car is losing power and there is only 46,000miles on the car, only went for this car cause I had a vectra 08 and had 198,000miles and decided to change, big mistake should have kept what I had, it's my last vauxhall I won't buy another

My first ever car, learned to drive in it, passed my test in it and even learned how to change a puncture with it. If you are starting out and want something easy to park, cheap to insure and cheap to run then this is the car.

The best thing about having this car was it was very good on fuel, also quite a comfortable car and plenty of room with a big size boot.

2013 Vauxhall Zafira Petrol Manual MPV by Simmy • 27th December 2017
Bought one of these cars brand new. Worst mistake off my life. Absolutely no power and found it difficult to pass a tractor. Only place this car liked was pulling into a petrol station which was every other day. Rubbish mpg. Had problems after 6 mths and found vauxhall warranty a real hassle as they tryed to wash there hands of every problem. Was recalled twice due to same other cars bursting into flames. Engine management light was on more than off which resulted in a loss of power and other electrical problems. Final straw was when power steering packed in. Honestly have to say the best thing about this car was the day I locked the doors for the last time outside the garage that I traded it in when I lifted the best car I've ever had which was a Nissan qashqai +2.

Just bought this car. Ex fleet. 63k miles Immaculate inside a d out. Lovely to drive and my fifth Vauxhall. Was after a 2.0 Mondeo auto tried three. None of them a patch on this. Pity the French are taking over Vauxhall they'll never be the same now.

2012 Vauxhall Astra GTC Turbo Diesel Automatic 6 speed Coupe by Boe • 10th February 2017
This is a beautiful car and not hard on fuel the car hasn't had to go to the mechanics for even a tire! And the car is comfy and has 20 inch rims which look absolutely stunning I have always been in to Vauxhall Astra's but this has got to be the one of the best cars I've owned I would definitely buy a vxr after this car I'm only selling my car is because I need to get my house bought it is for sale for £6000 which is an absolute bargain if you ask me it is on used cvar no for £6000 and is graphite colour and has only 70000miles
